Who we are
Sunflower Audio is a speaker manufacturer based in the UK. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Sunflower Audio, and we are the data controller for the information described below. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
When you place an order or join a waitlist we collect your name, email address, delivery address and phone number. When you send a bespoke enquiry we collect whatever you choose to tell us about your space and your project. We also collect basic technical information about how this site is used, such as pages viewed and approximate location.
How we use it
We use your information to fulfil orders, respond to enquiries, and keep you updated on a build in progress. Where you have asked us to, we send occasional news about products and events. We do not sell your information to anyone.
Our legal basis
We process order and enquiry information because it is necessary to perform a contract with you, or to take steps at your request before entering one. We send marketing email only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. We use analytics on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for seven years to meet our accounting obligations. Enquiry correspondence is kept for two years. A record of marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how we use it, and to ask us to restrict processing. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date shown at the top of this page. Where a change is significant we will tell you by email if we hold your address.
